A Big Week For Jesse

Jesse was a bit exhausted by the end of this hot day.

This was a big week for Jesse. On Wednesday morning, Mommy discovered his first tooth was breaking through his bottom gums.Jesse has been really good despite his teething. Then Thursday was his big trip to Silver Dollar City. Then on Saturday night, Jesse rolled onto his tummy on his own for the first time.

Five Months and First Bites

Jesse turned 5 months old today. To mark the occasion we let Jesse try his first new food, rice cereal. He didn't seem to like it much. See for yourself in the video. He is sitting in his new booster seat from MeMa Nelson.

Bears? Oh my!

About a week ago my mother told me that a neighbor had notified them of a black bear in the area. We kind of laughed it off asking, "What was she on?" Well, apparently nothing. In today's paper was the following picture and here is a link to the article.

Not just one, but two bears have been sighted on the street where my parents live. Jesse was just there yesterday playing in the front and back yard with my mother. AHHHHH!!! I bet they won't be doing much of that anymore for awhile.

Giggles

On May 18, 2007, Josh and I found out we were pregnant with a baby. It's hard to believe that was a year ago now. Jesse is almost 5 months old. He loves to giggle at mommy and daddy.

My First Mother's Day

I have joined the club! Since Jesse made me a mother 4 months ago, I got to be celebrated for Mother's Day this year. Josh's family came to church with us and then we all went out to eat at Bamboo Gardens for lunch. We came home to take a quick nap and then drove to Pittsburg with my Uncle Mike to see Grandma Wanda. She loved getting to see Jesse. Then some more of the fam (Aunt Wanda, Shelley, Jay, Matthew and Kirsten) met us at Chicken Annie's for dinner. That place is nostalgic for the Judahs.

Burwell, Nebraska

Jesse went on his first big trip. We drove 10 hours to Burwell, NE for Josh's cousin, Tashia's graduation. Jesse did great! Here he is wearing a Burwell cowboy shirt from the Andersons. Grandma T rode there with us and helped entertain him. It was a fun time staying with Josh's Grandma Genevieve. She always roles out the red carpet for us while we're there. At graduation, several were blowing their celebratory horns and it really scared Jesse. So Josh had to wait in the hallway with him where it wasn't so loud.

Kadia is Josh's cousin, Tonya's, little girl.

She is the first great grandbaby on the Udell side.

Jesse is 4 months old and Kadia will be 2 years old next month.
