Six Months and Six Years

Jesse turned 6 months old today on his Mommy and Daddy's 6 year wedding anniversary. He had his first experience swimming last night. He seemed to like it, despite the cool water.

Joelle's in Town!

My best friend, Joelle, is in town from Washington D.C. We spent the day together today. After giving Jesse a bath and gabbing for a few hours, we had lunch at Hello Thailand. Great food, not so great service. Then we did a little shopping at Target for fun. The above picture was taken at my mom's house. She fixed us some strawberry shortcake. I miss having my best friend around all the time, so today was simply awesome!


I took Joelle and Jesse to see my office. Don't they look cute cuddling on my couch. He's wearing the outfit from Drew and Joelle. It says, "Future Member - United States Senate."

Happy Father's Day!

This was Josh's first Father's Day. He loves his little Jesse. As you can tell, Jesse loves his Daddy too.

Sweet Potato Feast

Jesse got his first taste of sweet potatoes a few days ago. He loves them, or at least he will swallow them as opposed to the other lovely baby foods we've given him. So take a gander at Daddy and Jesse seemingly taking a bath in the sweet potatoes.

Roll over

Jesse started rolling from his back to his tummy less than a week ago, and already he makes it look so easy. Someone told me it's harder for babies to roll from back to tummy and usually they go from tummy to back first. Jesse hasn't gone tummy to back yet, but his little legs are moving and kicking so hard he scoots himself forward on his tummy. His arms just haven't caught up to coordinating with the legs yet. We will soon have a crawler.
